DAY 1 — The Warm Up

Kala Kalua (Hidden gem)

Urb. Cortijo Blanco, San Pedro de Alcántara

A local chiringuito that still feels like a chiringuito, not a DJ booth with sand around it. Fresh fish, simple and good. The perfect spot to cool down by the beach.

Afternoon

Nido

Ctra. de Cádiz km 162.5, Estepona · @nidoestepona

Take it easy. Nido is the kind of beach club where you book a sun lounger at noon and wake up from a half-day dream state around 5 pm. Chill vibes, good drinks, no rush.

Evening Tapas

Taberna La Niña del Pisto (Hidden gem)

C. San Lázaro 1, Marbella Old Town

Best tapas in Marbella, full stop. Small, charming, and with a menu that has you ordering three more dishes just because you can. Book ahead or arrive early, the place is small for a reason.

DAY 2 — SWEATY MORNING, SWEATY NIGHT

Voted best padel club in the world and best gym in Marbella. If you're going to work out on holiday, at least do it somewhere worth showing up to. Book a court, hit the gym, earn the rest of your day. Oh, and the breakfast and smoothies are banging too.

Lunch

El Chiringuito, Puente Romano

A bit more polished than Kala Kalua, but in a good way. Fancy enough to feel fancy, relaxed enough that you're still in flip flops. Perfect for a long, lazy lunch with a cold rosé.

LATE AFTERNOON INTO THE NIGHT (THU & SUN)

Playa Padre

Calle Playa del Cable s/n, Marbella · @playapadre

Arrive in the late afternoon while the sun is still warm, and let the night find you. Playa Padre’s beach club starts golden and slowly turns into something else entirely. Closes at midnight, but that's more than enough time to make it count.

Dinner

Alfredo’s (Hidden gem) — Option 1

C. Andalucía 10, San Pedro de Alcántara

Nothing fancy! And that's exactly the point. Alfredo's is the authentic,local kitchen that still exists in a city full of pool bars and Instagram restaurants. Come here for a classic Spanish feast and the feeling that you actually found something real.

Davero (Hidden gem) — Option 2

C. Guadalete, 2, Marbella

The local Italian who does things properly. Not a chain, not generic. Great pasta, proper ingredients, and the feeling that the chef actually cares. A quietly kept secret among the locals.

DAY 3 — NICE DINNERS & NIGHTLIFE

QUICK LUNCH / TAKEAWAY

Big Boss Burger, Nueva Andalucía (Hidden gem)

Av. Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer, 9, Nueva Andalucía, 29660 Marbella

Sometimes you just want the world's best burger in your hand, especially after a rodeo at Playa Padre. That's Big Boss. Takeaway, no apologies, completely worth it.

THE FINAL DINNER

If you're at Marbella Club having dinner at El Patio, you've done it right. Beautiful setting, serious food, and the kind of atmosphere you can't really describe, it just has to be experienced.

NIGHT — STOP 1

NYX, Puente Romano

First stop of the night. Puente Romano is always the right address, and NYX delivers. Good music, the right crowd, great energy to get things going.

NIGHT — STOP 2

Momento

And then Momento. The second stop always ends up being the best. Energy at its peak. The right way to close it out.

For beach bums: Elviria Beach, Marbella East

Marbella East — Elviria

No sun beds, no bottle service, no wristbands. Just bring your own towel and find your spot. Elviria is one of the best stretches of beach on the coast, and the fact that it hasn't been turned into a beach club is exactly why it's still worth going to.

Exceptional cocktails, a beautiful setting and a menu that works just as well for a long lunch as it does for a proper date night. One of those places that makes everything feel a little more special than it was five minutes ago.

For a night in: The Galician Butcher, Nueva Andalucía (Hidden gem)

C. el Califa 68, Nueva Andalucía

If you're staying somewhere with a kitchen, stop by the Galician Butcher in Nueva Andalucía. Best meats, best wines (and they'll pour you a glass on the house from whatever bottle they're recommending that day!). The kind of place that makes you wish every city had one.
